All visitors to Australia except for Australian and New Zealand passport holders must obtain a visa before they travel to Australia.
For Malaysia Passport holder, usually, you will need to apply Electronic Travel Authority, ETA Visa. However, under special circumstances or when deemed necessary by the Australia Government, Manual Application may be required.

Tourist for 3 months stay, multiple travel up to 12 months - No fee
Business for 3 months stay, multiple travel up to 12 months or single entry - No fee
Business for 3 months stay, multiple travel up to life of passport - Fee payable
