Visa Application Procedures & Notes:

1. You must come to the visa office of the Embassy or Consulate -General where you reside to submit the application; or If you cannot come personally, you may send someone else or a travel/visa agent to come to the visa office of the Embassy or Consulate-General where you reside for application processes.
2. Mail applications are not acceptable and will be refused.
3. No appointment is required.
4. Any person suffering from mental disorder, leprosy, AIDS, venereal diseases, contagious tuberculosis or other such infectious diseases shall not be permitted to enter China.
5. The Validity, Duration of Stay, and Number of Entries of the visa is issued at the discretion of the Consular Officers, whose decisions are based on the laws and regulations of China. The Consular Officers have the authority to refuse any visa applications inconsistent with Chinese laws and regulations, or revoke issued visas

Documents to be included with application:

1. Your valid & actual passport. The passport must have at least six (6) months validity left before expiration and at least one blank page left in it.
2. One completed Visa Application Form
3. One passport photo (black & white or color is acceptable) - recent 2-inch, bareheaded and full-faced passport photo.
4. Please pay by cash.

- An applicant born in China who applies for a Chinese visa with a new foreign passport is required to submit his /her Chinese passport or last foreign passport with a Chinese visa.
- If the visa application form is not filled out completely, correctly and legibly, this can cause a delay in processing or the refusal of the requested visa.
- Usually, the validity of a single Entry is 3 months and the validity of a double entry visa is 6 months from the date of issuance. Unless specified on the application form and approved by the consular officer, the duration of stay is 30 days.

To apply for a Multiple Entry (L) Visa, the applicant shall meet the following requirements:
(1) The applicant is the husband/wife, or son/daughter, or parent of a Chinese citizen residing in Mainland China. Please submit proof of relationship, e.g. the original and the photocopy of a marriage certificate, a notary certificate of kinship etc. or,
(2) The applicant owns real estate in China. Please submit the original and a photocopy of the property ownership certificate.

Normal:                   4 working days (additional RM 28/passport)
Urgent:                    3 working days (additional RM 200/passport)
Super Urgent:        1 working days (additional RM 280/passport)

***Additional 1 or 3 working days required for visa processing if submit the application through Eden Tours

Visa application Handling Charge (if submit/process application through Eden Tours):
Normal:                   RM 30/passport
Urgent:                    RM 50/passport
Top Urgent:            RM 70/passport
(in addition of the applicable visa fees charged by embassy/consular)
